Scottish Children’s Author Denise McKeever visits her local Library! This week I had a little visit to my local library in Newmains, North Lanarkshire.
I was initially visiting to gather some research for my new book series. To my surprise after an informative conversation with two fabulous local libraries! Who were very happy for me to quiz them on their expertise. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they already have two of my self published books. On display in the wee library I visited as a child.

My Scottish children’s books My Wee Alphabet Book & My Wee Numbers have already been in circulation with some active little readers taking my books home to read.
I had a lovely conversation with librarians Nicole & Ellie who gave me lots of market research to help me with my new books and were happy about my suggestion to donate a few new books to add to the collection.
