Happy New Year everyone from Denise McKeever Artist & Storyteller and all the best for 2026- I hope it is happy and prosperous! I am currently trying to find a little extra time at the weekends to add to my new books for 2026. Also I have some special surprises & news coming for 2026 so please keep posted!

As a passionate advocate for children and young people I am continually exploring new ways to use my art and storytelling to improve literacy, numeracy and teaching personal development. I have some exciting new Scottish Fairy characters from my spin off of my Y.A. Fiction novel ’The Gamekeepers; the Highland Games’ which I began working on early last year and hope to bring to life in 2026.

Last year I introduced a new series of small version copies of my paperbacks which I slowly realised are a big success with early readers- thanks to my little niece.

‘At my young nephews Birthday party my little four year old niece arrived clutching a small handbag preciously under her arm. Amongst the noisy commotion of party music and a room full of 8 year olds, she delicately placed her bag on a table and slowly and tentatively unfastened her little bag.
